The Need trust is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing and advocating for the needs of indigenous and tribal communities around the India. All the communities in a sovereign country should have equal development. Only then can the country's progress be considered complete. In this way, various nomadic ethnic groups are living in our country without recognition.

The Narikuravar, also called Narikuravar, are an indigenous group from the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. And its estimated population around 120000. The main occupation of the people who originally belong to the indigenous tribes is hunting. But as they were prohibited entry in to the forests to pursuit his livelihood, they were forced to take up other alternatives such as to make and sell beaded ornaments, imitation jewelry products at bus stand, railway station, temples, and pathways to survive. Hence, they migrate from place to place to find a market for their beads. Children accompany the adults wherever they go, these children are not able to attend school properly. The Narikuravas speak the unclassified Indo-Aryan language called Vaagri. Almost all Narikuravas are well-versed in Tamil. However, most of the Narikuravar traditional hymns and folk songs are in Vaagri language.
There has been discrimination of Narikuravas since ancient times. However, the Narikuravas are to be now recognized as a scheduled tribe. Uneducation and unemployment are other problems which afflict the Narikuravas community. The proscription of fox-hunting as well as killing endangered species of birds and wild life have depleted the Narikuravas of their traditional sources of livelihood. The major issues which confront Narikuravas are poverty, illiteracy, diseases and discrimination. On 2010, Thiru.R.Vijayasundaram formed organization named NEED TRUST was formed in order to educate Narikuravas children and facilitate them to lead a settled life. Need trust organizarion, have poured in efforts to improve the lives of the Narikuravas.
The meeting of the trustees of this trust is held every month to consider the income and expenditure and these details are duly recorded in the meeting proceedings book.
NEED Trust is a chartered body under the Trusts Act & Rules.
The Trust is a registered organization in the Darpan Portal monitored by the Government of India.
This trust is registered u/s 12AA and 80G by Income Tax Department. It is a statutory body with income tax exemption.
And every year the body which audits and files its annual accounts with the Income Tax Office.
